This course is designed to help you develop an understanding of the foundations of Decentralised finance (DeFi) and how DeFi is disrupting the Financial Services Sector in many countries across the world.

DeFi is evolving to address the current limitations and failings of centralized financial institutions, and how the technologies can be leveraged to create digital innovation and transformation within the financial sector.

The course is broken into 10 weekly topics to allow you to learn what is being taught and to research beyond this Guide so you can build your depth of understanding for each topic.
Once you have worked through each weekly topic, you will be ready to take the Topic Test. The information contained in this Guide combined with a little broader research and reading will prepare you well for each Topic Test.

On successful completion of the Topic Tests, you will have demonstrated your understanding of the basics of decentralised finance and how DeFi is being applied across the financial services sector.
